Chen Yifu (陈贻福)

Chen Yifu (1927) is from Wuhan, Hubei Province. As a child, Chen learned from others; he was particularly good in drawing cartoons. In 1950, he became a designer for the New China Bookstores Central South China Head Office. Later he worked as an art editor for the Central South China People's Publishing House, the Hubei People's Publishing House and the Changjiang People's Publishing House. He now heads the serial cartoon editorial office of the Hubei Fine Arts Publishing House.

Chen is famous for his serial cartoons and cartoons. Some of his work has been included in the collection of the China Art Gallery.
