Shan Huaju (1942) was from Xiangfen, Shanxi Province. He is vice-chairman of the Shanxi Provincial Landscape Painting Research Association, director of the China Railway Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and executive vice-chairman of Linfen Railway Literary and Art Federation. His works have been collected by Tiananmen Gate; Zhongnanhai; the Qi Baishi Memorial Hall; the Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall. He was once rated among two hundred Chinese landscape painters and awarded the honorary title of "Outstanding People's Artist".
