Ding Shiqian (1944) was born in Suining, Sichuan Province. He is good in Chinese painting and comic strips. He served as a Director of the Exhibition Department of the Museum of Suining, Sichuan Province.

"On the Road to School", which he created together with Duan Xiaoqin, was selected for the National New Year Painting Exhibition and collected by the National Art Museum of China.
