Huang Jiayu (黄驾宇)
Huang Jiayu (1943) was born in Quzhou, Zhejiang. In 1961 he joined the People's Liberation Army, after having studied at the Beijing Industrial Arts Academy. Having become an editor of Army publications, he studied oil painting at the Zhonghua Shehui University. He is currently art editor at the PLA Arts Press and the Kunlun Publishing House.
Huang's specialities include designing comic strips.
