weixianqingWei Xianqing (1956) was born in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. In 1988, he studied in the Art Design Department of the Academy of Fine Arts of Shanghai University. He is editor in the New Year Pictures and Propaganda Studio of the Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House.

Wei is known for New Year pictures and oil paintings.
