Chen Zhenxin (陈振新)

Chen ZhenxinChen Zhenxin (1950) is from Nantong, Jiangsu Province. In 1965, he entered the industrial arts college in his hometown. He joined the People's Liberation Army in 1969 and while stationed in the Beijing Military Region, he engaged in stage design. Chen transferred to the People's Fine Arts Publishing House (人民美术出版社) in 1979. Later he was vice-head of the picture editorial office there.

Chen is known for his sketches, but he also designs propaganda images and New year's prints.
