Xiangyangyuan ('sun facing courtyard') was an imaginary model neighbourhood from a novel by Xu Ying (徐瑛) and featured in the 1974 film The Story of Xiangyangyuan (向阳院的故事).

The television is not meant for a private living room, but for a communal room in a housing complex.
