Gu Gang (谷钢)
Gu Gang (1942, Weixian, Hebei Province) graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Central Art Academy in 1980. In 1981, he became a professor in the Jilin Art Academy. Gu excels in oil painting.
The poster 'Make many contributions to the Four Modernizations in the same manner as Jiang Zhuying' 
made Gu the recipient of the second prize during the National Propaganda Painting exhibition in 1983.
