Jin Lang (金浪)

Jin Lang (1915-1999) was born in Zhenhai, Zhejiang Province. He started studying Chinese painting in 1932 and later studied applied art. In 1938, he enrolled in the Art Department of the Lu Xun Art Academy in Yan'an. Later, he went to the Jin-Ji-Lu-Yu (Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan liberated area) North Art School and became editor of the New Star Illustrated (Xinxing huabao, 新星画报 ). After 1949, he was employed in the Zhejiang Art Academy, in the Sketching Department, Research Office and other sections.

Jin was known for his Chinese paintings.
