Lu Qing (1928-2017) was an animator of the Shanghai Fine Arts Film Studio. She graduated from the Suzhou Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in oil painting. In April 1950, she entered the Shanghai Film Studio Art Group (the predecessor of Shanghai Fine Arts Film Studio). She has been engaged in animation design for more than 30 years and participated in the creation of films such as Heavenly Palace (大闹天宫), Snow Child (雪孩子), Bizarre Book of Heaven (天书奇谭), and The Wandering of San Mao (三毛流浪记).
