Pei Changqing (裴常青)

Pei Changqing (1944) is from Liaoning Province. In 1960, he started his training at the Aviation School of the People's Liberation Army Air Force. Subsequently, he became an artist with the Air Force General Command in 1968. Having followed a refresher course in the Oil Painting Department of the Guangzhou Art Academy in 1980, he now works in the Arts Section of the Political Department of the Air Force.

Pei, who is known for his oil paintings and water colors, received a prize for his poster 'Study Zhu Boru to become a new Lei Feng of the 1980s' during the National Exhibition of Propaganda Posters in 1983.
