Sun Jingbo (孙金波)

Sun Jingbo (1945) was born in Mouping, Shandong Province. After he graduated from the middle school attached to the Central Art Academy in 1964, he worked for the Yunnan branch of the China Artists Association. In 1978, he entered the Oil Painting Department of the Central Art Academy as a research student, and after he graduated he took up teaching. He now works in the administration of the Central Art Academy.

Sun is known for his oil paintings, which are all inspired by themes from Yunnan. Some of his works are included in the collection of the China Art Gallery.
