Wu Min (吴敏)

Wu Min (1931-2003) was from Pinghu, Zhejiang Province. In 1949, he joined the People's Liberation Army, and worked as an artist in a number of units, including the Cultural Section of the Political Department of the Navy stationed in the East China Sea. He was transferred to work in the Art Editorial Department of the journal Navy Warrior (海军战士, Haijun zhanshi) in 1952. Wu became a member of the Creative Office of the Political Department of the Navy.

Wu was specialized in propaganda designs and comic strips.
