Wu Yumei (吴玉梅)
Wu Yumei (1940) was born in Songjiang, Shanghai. Initially, she received no formal art training, but in the summer of 1960 she took lessons at the Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy, where she now teaches.
Ms. Wu is known for her flower-and-bird paintings, for which she has received prizes. The poster 'Follow the road of the revolutionary elders' 
from 1976 is a collaborative work, for which she joined forces with Jin Guangyu, Xiao Feng and Song Ren.
