Wu Zhongping (1954) was born in Wuhe County, Anhui Province. He graduated from Anhui Normal University in 1979, majoring in fine arts. From 1984 to 1987, he studied for a master's degree in the Art Department of Anhui Normal University. He is currently the president and editor of Anhui Fine Arts Publishing House, editor-in-chief of Painting and Calligraphy World (书画世界), and an intellectual property consulting expert of the Anhui Higher People's Court.
