Wu Ziqiang (1943, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province) graduated from the middle school attached to the Zhejiang Fine Art Academy in 1963, and in 1970 graduated from the industrial design faculty of the same Academy. He joined the editorial staff of the Zhejiang Fine Arts Publishing House in 1972, and returned to teaching, in 1987, at the Hangzhou Art Academy.

Wu is known for his Chinese paintings.
