Yang Junsheng (杨俊生)

Yang Junsheng (1909-1981) was born in Anqing, Anhui Province. In his youth, he created calendar art (月份牌, yuefenpai) in Shanghai. After 1956, he first worked for the Shanghai Poster Publishing House, and later designed New Year pictures for the Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House. For some time he was director of the Shanghai Artists Association.

Yang was known for this New Year pictures.
