Yang Wende (1955) is a native of Shandong Province. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of the Shandong University of Arts in 1982. He was successively Director of the Jiaonan Cultural Center, and Editor of the Shandong Fine Arts Publishing House New Year Picture Editing Office.

Yang is known for New Year paintings and Chinese paintings.
