Yao Erchang (姚尔畅)

Yao Erchang (1954) is from Shanghai. He joined the People's Liberation Army in 1972, and became involved with artistic and cultural work. After his graduation from the Oil Painting Department of the PLA Art Academy in 1986, he continued to produce art while working in the Arts Office of the Shanghai Garrison Command.

Yao is an oil painter whose works have been included in the collection of the Chinese People's Revolutionary Military Museum.
