Zhong Zhihong (钟志宏)

Zhong Zhihong (1932, deceased, Huolu, Hebei Province) received no formal art training. In 1949, he started to work as an artist in the Shijiazhuang Municipal Cultural Center, and later became deputy-director. He was recognized as a National Advanced Cultural Worker in 1956. In 1961, he transferred to the Hubei Provincial Publishing Office and took on the responsibility of directing the editorial office responsible for the publication of Hebei Illustrated (河北画刊, Hebei huakan).

Zhong was known for his comic strips and watercolors. He collaborated with Zhai Runshu, Gao Tongbao and Zhang Zengmu.
