Zou Peizhu (1920-2015) was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Ms. Zou graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Chongqing National Art School in 1944 and went to teach at the National Beiping Art School and the Sculpture Department of the Central Art Academy.

Ms. Zou's large-size sculptures could be seen at the Capital Gymnasium and the Beijing Workers' Stadium.
