On the back of a dragon, a worker, peasant, Party cadre, student and People's Militia member carry a basket with the products of the People's Communes to a traditional gateway (inscribed 跃进门 - Leap Forward gate), behind which is an idealized 'socialist rural village' with an industrial plant and a dam in the background.
