Chen Juxian (陈菊仙)

Chen Juxian (1929, Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province) graduated from the Central Art Academy in 1952, and was transferred to the New Year pictures section of the Shanghai People's Fine Art Publishing House. In the 1960s, she created many propaganda posters.

Ms. Chen is now known primarily for her New Year pictures, and illustrations for children. She cooperated with Ms. Wu Xingqing.
