Peng Qianghua (1943) is from Meixian, Guangdong Province. In 1968, he graduated from the Industrial Arts Department of the Guangzhou Art Academy. After he joined the People's Liberation Army, he was attached to the Fine Arts Group of the Guangzhou Military Region from 1971 till 1984. In the next two years, he taught at the Guangzhou Art Academy. In 1986, he transferred to the Art Editorial Office of the journal Jiating (家庭, Family).

Peng is specialized in oil painting and woodblocks and has had his works exhibited regularly. He collaborated with Zhao Chiting, Peng Shigen and Zhao Shuqin.
