Feng Jianqin (1939) is from Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. After his graduation from the Oil Painting Department of the Nanjing Art Academy in 1961, he took up teaching. He now is professor at the Nanjing Art Academy, and heads the Industrial Design section.
Feng is specialized in oil painting. A number of his works has been awarded prizes. Feng's paintings have been included in the collection of the China Art Gallery. He cooperated with Chen Dexi.
In 2017, Feng donated a large collection of his posters and designs to the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC, Beijing).
