Feng Yiming (1929, Yuyao, Zhejiang Province) took part in the founding of the Tianjin Fine Arts Publishing House after his graduation from the East China Art Academy in 1954. He transferred in 1980 to teach Chinese painting at the Nanjing Art Academy. Four years later he helped set up the Murals Department at the same Academy, where he now heads the Research Office.

Feng is known for the water colors he created in the 1970s, and the murals he made in his later years.
