Guang Tingbo (1938, Dalian, Liaoning Province) is of Manchu ethnicity. In 1964, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Lu Xun Fine Arts Academy, and found employment in the Liaoning Branch of the Chinese Artists Association. He transferred to the Liaoning Paint Academy in 1980 and later headed the Creative Department of that Academy. From 1993-2003, he lived in the USA.

Guang is specialized in oil painting. Some of his works are included in the collection of the China Art Academy.
