Guo Ling (1930), oroginally known as Guo Qingnian (郭庆年), was born in Tianjin. He graduated from North China University in 1949 and served as an art member of the Art Troupe of the Southern Work Team. He was art editor of the editorial department of Guangxi Literature and Art (广西文艺).

Guo is good at printmaking. He received the Lu Xun Printmaking Prize in 1996.
