Jin Hongwei (1950), also known as Jing Lin (景林), is from Jilin Province. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Northeast Normal University in 1982. Later, he worked as the art editor of the New Long March (新长征) magazine of the Propaganda Department of the Jilin Provincial Party Committee, and the director, deputy editor, and editor of the editorial department of Window of the Northeast (东北之窗) magazine. Since 1996, he has served as general manager of the China National Books Import & Export (Group) Dalian Company; he is part-time professor at Liaoning Normal University, and chief editor of the China Urban Online Art Museum.

Jin is good at oil painting, watercolor painting and Chinese painting.
