Liang Rongzhong (1938-1995) was from Pingnan, Guangxi Province. In 1964, he graduated from the Chinese painting major of the Guangxi Art Institute.

Liang was known for his Chinese paintings, and he was good at depicting figures and animals. Most of his early works were devoted to landscapes. In particular, he created a large number of Guilin landscape paintings.
