Lin Yixiang (1940) was born in Yokohama (Japan) in 1940. In 1953, she and her family returned to China. Her father, Lin Daquan, taught painting at the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts, where Ms. Lin graduated from the Woodcut Department in 1965.
