Pang Taisong (1938) was born in Yulin, Guangxi Province. He graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1964. He became a full-time painter of the Guangzhou Air Force. In more than 40 years of artistic exploration, Pang has loved and cherished clouds, watched and painted clouds, and has formed an indissoluble bond with clouds, mountains and seas. Many of his works have been collected by the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, the Zhongnanhai Ziguang Pavilion, the Central Military Commission Building, the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Building and some well-known art museums.
