Qiu Guangzheng (1930, Shanghai) graduated from the Drawing Department of the East-China branch of the Central Art Academy in 1954. He has worked in the Henan Art Academy, the Shanghai Fine Arts School, Henan University and the Suzhou Spinning and Weaving Industrial Academy. He now teaches in the China Spinning and Weaving University.

Qiu excels in water colors and oil paintings.
