Shan Yinggui (1933) was from Gaomi, Shandong Provinc. Since 1949, she was an art assistant editor in the editorial department of the Shandong Xinhua Bookstore. She entered the Chinese Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1956, graduated in 1961, and then successively taught at the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts and the Shandong Art College.

Ms. Shan is known for figurative paintings and New Year pictures.
