Wang Dabao (王大保)

Wang Dabao (1935, Binhai, Jiangsu Province) graduated from the middle school attached to the Zhejiang Art Academy in 1958, and was sent to work as an artist and photographer with the Zhejiang Public Security Journal (浙江公安报, Zhejiang gong'an bao) under the Zhejiang Provincial Public Security Office. In 1961, he joined the People's Liberation Army where he designed propaganda. He transferred to the Zhejiang Provincial Judiciary in 1983 and he was employed as general and arts editor with the Zhejiang Legal Journal (浙江法制报).

Wang is specialized in blockprints and oil paintings.
