Wang Jinxiang (1954) was born in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. He graduated from Zhejiang University. Wang has loved the art of calligraphy and painting since childhood, and has been engaged in painting creation and research for more than 30 years.

Wang is seen as an artist continuing the style of Feng Zikai (丰子恺).
