Wang Keyin (1932-2003), a "meticulous" (gongbi, 工笔) flower-and-bird painter, art educator and senior designer, was a native of Jindong Village, Dajindian Town, Dengfeng City, Henan Province. In 1952, he graduated from the junior college class of the Henan Art School. He successively worked as an art teacher in Xuchang Art Normal University, Yuxian Normal University, Luohe Normal University, Cotton Textile Factory of the Luohe Light Industry Bureau, the Pingdingshan Bedding Factory and other units. In 1991, he was awarded the title of "National Best Design Worker".
Some of his works have been collected by domestic and foreign museums and collectors.
