Wang Lihua (王利华)

Wang Lihua (1942) is from Fenghua, Zhejiang Province. After his graduation from Fenghua Normal College, he taught for two years until joining the People's Liberation Army in 1964. In 1969, he returned to civilian life and started work at the Fenghua Municipal Cultural Center, first as a cadre, later as vice-director. He also studied art at the Zhejiang Art Academy in the period 1969-1970. In 1981, Wang transfered to the municipal art education office, eventually becoming vice director of the culture broadcasting office in 1982.

Wang is acclaimed for his Chinese paintings and New Year prints.
