Wang Naizhuang (1929) was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. He entered the Shanghai Art Training institute in 1947, specializing in sketching; in 1949 he graduated from the National Beiping Art Institute, and in 1953, he graduated from the Central Art Academy. Subsequently, he became a professor in the Institute of Architecture of Qinghua University.

Wang is known for his inkwash paintings.
