Wang Weibao (1942) was a native of Jinjiang, Fujian Province. He graduated from the high school attached to the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1963. His first work, "Catch the sparrow" (捉麻雀), was published in the Fujian Daily (福建日报) in 1958, followed by many other examples of his work.

Wang is good in Chinese painting.
