Wang Xin (1925-2020) was from Chengde, Hebei Province. After his graduation from Rehe (Jehol) Normal University in 1948, he taught art in primary and secondary schools. In 1956, he joined the Liaoning Fine Arts Publishing House. He transferred to the Hebei Chengde Mass Art Center in 1972, where he was active in the capacity of researcher.
Wang was mainly known for his New Year prints and water colors.
