Wen Bing (1932), also known as Sun Wenbiao (孙文彬), was born in Shanghai. When he was 14, he joined the New Fourth Army. In 1949, he enrolled in the Fine Arts Department of the Zhongyuan Arts College. After graduation, he became an editor with the Zhongnan gongrenbao (Zhongnan Workers Paper, 中南工人报). In 1954, he transferred to the Gongren ribao (Workers Daily, 工人日报), where he became editor. More recently, he worked as an editor at the Anhui ribao (Anhui Daily, 安徽日报).

Wen is known as a cartoonist.
