Wen Dugeng (1935) was born in Meixian, Guangdong Province. He graduated from the Painting Department of the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 1955, and entered the teaching and research section of the Chinese Painting Department of the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts in 1956. He served as Associate Professor of the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and Associate Professor of the Xiamen University School of Art.

Wen was known for his Chinese paintings.
