Weng Wenzhong (1939), also known as Gongyu (公羽) and Mengqiao (梦樵), was born in Fujian Province. He was engaged in arts and crafts organization work in the Guangxi Light Industry Department and served as the Director of the Research Office of the Arts and Crafts Research Institute of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Weng was known for his decorative painting and Chinese painting.
