Xin Hejiang (辛鹤江)

Xin Hejiang (1941) is from Anxin, Hebei Province. After his graduation from the Art Department of the Hebei Normal College, he initially stayed in to teach there, but the transferred to the Shijiazhuang Normal College for a teaching position a year later. In 1970, he transferred again, to the Hebei Fine Arts Publishing House to become an editor, a job in which he has persevered until the present.

Xin’s specialty is gongbi (工笔, 'meticulous') multi-color New Year pictures, as in his 'A cotton grower comes to visit', which has been included in the collection of the China Art Museum.
