Yang Guchang (杨谷昌)

Yang Guchang (1943-2016) was from Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province. He graduated from the Central Academy of Art and Design in 1969, joined the People's Liberation Army in 1973, and joined the Communist Party of China in 1982. He worked as research librarian of the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution, and senior expert in museum display design. He used to be the executive director of the China International Calligraphy and Painter Association.

His 1991 poster "Commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party -- Glorious course, magnificent goal" counts as one of his major accomplishments.
