Yang Jianjian (1940) is from Yanshi, Henan Province. Ms. Yang graduated from the Xi'an Art Academy and has stayed on ever since, becoming an Associate Professor.

Ms. Yang is known for her water colors (some of which have been included in the collection of the China Art Gallery) and murals. An example of the latter can be found in the Xi'an Railway Station.
