Yang Wenyi (1953) was born in Linhe, Inner Mongolia. He loved literature and art since childhood and graduated from the Beijing Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University in 1990. Yang is known for his Chinese paintings, landscapes, and flower-and-bird paintings.
