Yu Baojian (1942) was born in Pulandian, Liaoning Province. He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Northeast Normal University. As a water colorist, Yu is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a member of the National Art Education Research Association, and a member of the Liaoning Watercolor Painting and New Year Painting Society.
