Yu Wenhua (1921-2014) was from Suzhou. He excelled at landscape painting, figure painting and flower and bird painting. He worked within the Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy and held a position at the Shanghai Museum of Literature and History. Yu was very successful and had a long career.
