Yu Wenhua (1921-2014) was from Suzhou. He excelled at landscape painting, figure painting and flower and bird painting. He worked within the Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy and was librarian at the Shanghai Museum of Literature and History. Yu was very successful and had a long career.
